Your room is heated by a carbon radiant panel (UDI SUN) built into the ceiling, controlled by the wall thermostat. The temperature is already set sensibly – but you can adjust it up or down at any time.
The thermostat runs in AUTO mode with a preset daily schedule – including a gentle night setback. There’s nothing you need to set up to get started.
Simply press + for warmer or – for cooler. The first press shows the currently set temperature, every press after that changes it directly.
Your new temperature stays in place until the schedule switches next – for example, in the evening for the night setback. After that, the thermostat automatically goes back to the preset schedule.
That’s all there is to it. The small flame icon on the display shows when the heating is currently active – it turning on and off is completely normal.
20–22 °C (68–72 °F) is plentyEvery degree less noticeably saves energy – going warmer barely makes the room cosier.
The night setback is intentionalIt getting a bit cooler at night is part of the schedule and saves energy. If needed, just warm it back up with +.
Quick full blast instead of tiltingOpen the window fully for 5 minutes, then close it again. A window left tilted open constantly lets heat escape.
Keep the door closedKeeps the warmth in your room instead of heating the hallway or bathroom too.
Radiant heat, not just warm airThe ceiling heating warms the ceiling, floor & furniture directly – so even a lower temperature already feels cosy.
Up or down, either wayBoth directions are welcome – set it to whatever feels comfortable for you.
The schedule is pre-setThe Menu and Info/OK buttons change the schedule – there’s no need for that, just adjust with + and –.
The flame turning on/off is normalIt just shows whether the heating is currently active – nothing to worry about if it’s off sometimes.
